What kinds of recipes are in the cookbook? Most of the recipes in this book are dinners because this always seems to be the meal for which I need extra inspiration. The breakfasts in this book are choose-your-adventure-style (because who doesn’t love to start their day with an adventure?). For lunch, I’ve included some of my favorite entree and side dish pairings, which are perfect for meal prepping. While we love sweet treats, there is not a dessert chapter in this book.
Where can I buy the cookbook? We sell Eat! exclusively on our website. Live Eat Learn self-published and funded 100% of the costs to create and print this book, so we are unable to offer it through discount retailers at this time.
How many of the recipes are vegan? Gluten-free? 58 recipes are vegan or have a vegan option (and 45 of these are dinners or sides). 63 recipes are gluten-free or have a gluten-free option (and 52 of these are dinners or sides).
Are the recipes on the website? Yes! This cookbook contains reader-favorite recipes from the past 10 years of Live Eat Learn, as well as a bunch of Sarah’s personal favorites. Readers have been asking for a printed version of our recipes for years, and we are so excited to finally create a cookbook that holds it all in one place!
What is your return policy? All sales are final and no refunds will be issued. If your book arrives damaged, please photograph the damage within 7 days of receiving your book. Send photos of the damage and your order number to sarah@liveeatlearn.com so that we can send you a replacement book.
When will I receive my book? We personally package and ship every order from our home in Denver, Colorado! We ship all orders within 2 business days, unless otherwise noted. Shipping time will depend on the shipment method you choose – Media Mail or Priority Mail.
Just got the book, reviewing the recipes made me want to cook now! (It’s Thanksgiving eve, so I’ll wait till the weekend). I was so impressed I just ordered one as a holiday gift for a senior friend who struggles to meet her protein goals. These recipes are a perfect solution. Thank you so much!!
I realize most people just love to cook and eat and I’m not crazy about either one. So I hesitantly bought this book and have tried five or six recipes which to my surprise. were all easy to make. My experience in the past has been to buy a book that says it’s “simple“ But then it gets all fancy & hoity-toity trying to outdo the latest recipes online. This book does NOT do that or at least it has not so far. Truly it is the first book I’ve ever gotten that has proven simple thus far but delicious.. I am so glad I purchased the book..
I’m not even a vegan or a vegetarian, but these recipes I must say are delicious and I can use chicken stock instead of vegetable broth etc. . My main goal in buting the book is to increase my protein in my diet and I’m not a big meat lover either. I absolutely love chickpeas and lentils, and this is the perfect book for me! No muss or fuss but absolutely delicious recipe recipes so far!
i've already made one recipe from it (the zucchini stew) and loved it! can't wait to try more - so many of them look delicious and easy to make.
Love the recipes I’ve tried. I wish the book could fold in half to use less counter space. I have a tiny kitchen.
First off, every recipe has a full page photo,so you know what it should look like, and a QR code for help making it. There is an ingredients appendix which helps for a grocery shopping list, and everything looks quick and easy to make. There are no desserts in the book, and I’m surprised the egg breakfast recipes don’t include vegan options, but this is an excellent book for lunch or dinner on the table relatively quickly, you also get basic nutritional information for most of the recipes, exceptions are when there is a base and many options such as morning oats, smoothies, etc.So far I’ve made 2 of the recipes and they were a big hit with my family. We made the bean burritos part of our taco Tuesday - they are just so good!
